Whilst term dates will vary around the UK, traffic surveys should generally have been completed by the second week in July. If this is not possible, the nearest opportunity to recommence surveys will be the second week of September, with the data then taking up to 4-weeks to arrive with us for subsequent analysis.
If you have a development requiring a planning application to be made during the summer or autumn, we would urge you to start thinking about commissioning your preferred transport consultant now to allow them time to agree the survey parameters with the relevant Local Highway Authority and avoid delay to your project.
