Our Transport Team has secured a positive consultation response from the Highway Authority on our Coxheath (Kent) development of 210 new homes, today; a locally contentious site that generated around 300 local objections, many related to the transport implications of the proposal.
However, the Highway Authority commented on the rigour of our assessment and agreed with our approach & conclusions in full, avoiding protracted negotiations and supplementary work that sometimes accompanies such applications.
This is an example of our ability to recognise the salient issues at the earliest stage of the development process and to put in place appropriate strategies to negate potential concerns.
