We are excited to announce that our team has moved to a new location on Whiteladies Road, Bristol.
We spent the previous three years in a building about a mile away from our new location – our old office served us welll and we made great memories there, but we couldn’t be more excited about our new space.
While we were happy with our space, there were several motivating factors to make a move:
- Space. When we first moved into our last office, there were three of us and plenty of room. When we left, there were 14 and space was getting tight. The limited space also restricted our ability to create the kind of office environment we wanted to provide for our colleagues. The new office is more than twice as large with floods of natural light and a great studio feel, but more importantly it allowed us to rethink our layout and how it could work better for our team.
- Personality. In our last office, we were on the second floor of a building surrounded by a plethora of other firms. While we really liked our neighbours we lived a pretty anonymous existence and we’re hoping our new location will allow us to exhibit a little personality on our working environment.
- Location. What a difference a mile makes. Our last office was within immediate walking distance of Broadmead – which was fab – but the new location trumps that in our view, being a stride away from great places such as The Cowshed, The Burger Joint, Alterego, and Everyman cinema . We’re huge advocates of a social workforce and we’re excited that our office location now facilitates and encourages the unplanned after work drink!
It has been an exciting 3.5 years for Calibro and we look at this new location as the start of another chapter in our history.
We’re still working on getting settled in and adding artwork to the walls but the football table and table tennis are on order! We’re incredibly excited to be in the new space.
